Hi,
Can someone tell me if a JT1000 that can be programmed from the front panel with the "key", also allows user programmable scan (channel additions/deletions) as needed from the front panel? Will the latest firmware 3.02 or something like that, do narrow band?
What are the chances of the display going out completely if there is a single line of pixels out across the screen and is it a cheap fix for a new display on the board here?
Thanks for the help.

Re: JT1000 Scan Question
I'm not sure about the scan, but on the narrow band it will not work on some 2.5KHz stepped channels.RadioNut wrote:Hi,

The display can go totally out. If there is no physical damage you can get that repaired for free under an ISB till the end of this month. See http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=74621

Re: JT1000 Scan Question
You don't need the hardware key to program the scan list from the controls. All you need to do is program one position of the A-B-C switch on the housing top for 'scan program'. Then when you select the position that you programmed for scan program you can step through the channels and use one of the side buttons to include or exclude the selected channel from the scan list(same as the HT1000).
Re: JT1000 Scan Question
Ok got it...It has to have been enabled in the RSS and then you can do it manually.
Thank you both for the info I appreciate it.
