Systems saber 1E model # decode

Post by Hey Nurse »

This may be a stoopid question to ask, but i'll give it a shot anyhoo:

Do these(Sys sabers) model #s follow the Saber I/II/III blueprint or no?

I am seeking info on radios with the following model# & factory #/ID:

Model #: H99QX+102H

Factory ID: H44TUN5170CN

Any help is appriciated...

That's the number that you are concerned with. High power, UHF, System Saber I (no display or keypad).

The majority of UHF systems sabers are going to be the low split 403-430 ex-gov radios.

Don't understand your caption of "1-E." I don't think such an animal was ever made. If it was, then it would be a "TUG" as the "G" is the designator for the 24-channel, two-zone radio.

Well technically it would be a 32 channel radio, as Systems Sabers are 16 channels per zone.

But yeah, I don't think such a beast ever existed.

I was VERY confused by this......i was SURE that a beast of this nature had never came out of any orifice in Ma M, but the fleabayer i was deling with was ADAMANT that it had.............so i thought id consult the experts here. (I have since located someone with another radio forsale who is NOT an asshat and NOT cruising on a failboat full of suck!)

Thanks to all who replied!

Meaning no disrespect to anyone on this Board, the fact is that a high percentage of those persons who sell used radios on eBay are non-techie near-idiots. They wouldn't know a flashcode from a flashbulb, or an exact bandsplit on a standard Saber from the hamburger they had for lunch today. So, if you come up with a Systems Saber 1-E by all means please let us all know, because it would be a real find, whether it was made up in a shop by Motorola or someone else.
