Hi,
Ok,I have my Motorola OEM genuine RIB box and pc to rib cable coming.
Now I need a AC supply for my Rib.Can I use a ac supply from Radio Shack or should I buy the genuine ac supply from Motorola??
I am worried about bricking my small collection of Astro Saber portables if the 9volt battery dies out.
Thanks for the info in advance.

I've been using a mouser.com part# 412-109033 for years now, no problems, comes with the right connector on it.

the mouser.com part# 412-109033 works good! for extra protection, put in a Good 9v battery. We also plug most equipment into APC UPS units... we get brownouts & surges here due to the high winds right now....
