What radios do you own?: XTS3000/astro spectra/

i know that the astro saber is basically a software radio, all that it can do, it is flashed to do. so have any of you astro experts heard of or are aware of motorola making an LTR trunking flash, to allow UHF 400 astro sabers to work with the 400 LTR trunked systems? in theory it should do the job just fine as long as motorola makes a flash for it. 400LTR business systems are showing up all over the place, any info would be helpful, if this is true, i might save my pennys for an astro saber.

I have never heard of an LTR option for any Astro product, and quite frankly I don't think you're likely to ever see one offered because the Astro line is intended purely for public safety use, and is prohibitively expensive for less demanding commercial and business applications. LTR's market is almost exclusively commercial and business and not public safety, so adding LTR support to an Astro makes no sense. It would be an enhancement that practically nobody would need.
