CM200 External Alarm

Post by escomm »

CM200 programmed with pin 4 set to external alarm and high. Mobile receives the call and acknowledges it with the 2 beeps. First the pin would not give me any voltage at all. I fiddled with settings a bit to no avail. Changed it to COR and then I had 12V full time on pin 4 anytime the radio was powered on. Then I reprogrammed it to External Alarm and now I have 12V full time on pin 4.

Any ideas???

2 new radios arrived today, with 4.x firmware in them, programmed exactly as the two above and they work beautifully. Gonna chalk this up to a defect in the firmware in 3.03.04
