Motorola tetra "erase software"

Have selected "erase sw" in the cps and now the radio wont power on saying "unable to detect radio codeplug location" even with write sw etc, am using mr5.8 cps, has anybody got a way to write sw back into the radio? can take messages off group on [email protected]

Taking messages "off group" is not what our community is about. If you post a question here, we'd like to see the solution to your question posted here as well, for the enlightenment of the community.

I don´t have any skills with the Tetra radios until now,but I know a little about the CPS.
You can try to unpack the cps_dat.zip and load the firmwarefile direct.
The zip password is (gogol) ,for all Tetra CPS versions!

wont do anything "unable to detect radio codeplug location" and the "recover radio" option is greyed out - anybody else any ideas?

It looks like you have a bad codeplug in your radio.This can only be fixed with the CPS in lab mode.
I don´t have found a way to modify the latest CPS yet.I have only a way for a old Dimetra CPS.You can try this,but I think your radio is not supported by the CPS.
