GP339 selcall programming - anyone know how?

G'day all

I have 2 x GP339's that I wish to program to be able to selcall each other (would like an alert tone on the receiving radio).

I have programmed each radio with their own address, and have added the addresses to the Contact List with an Alias. The only thing is, when I call up Radio 1, I can't get it to recognise the EEA tone that is sent from Radio 2! I've looked high and low in the CPS, and I have spent hours trying numerous settings but to no avail. Am I missing something??
