Astro Spectra dual head mic audio

i have a astro spectra 800mhz with dual head programed with dual head option on and f/r button to control them but when i use the rear head the radio keys up but my voice does not get transmitted i have changed mics and tried another control head and still not working it is the corect control head i am losed on this one please help
