astro spectra programing cable-think I have the wrong one

Post by laramiecountyCERT »

I have a Motorola Astro Digital Mobile, model number D04KK9PW4AN and the programing cable HKN6155A. I cant get it to read the radio for some reason. am I using the wrong cable for this? I have checked settings for the right com port in the program and its not reading it. Plugged directly into the serial port on my computer so its not a USB adapter problem.
Suggestions?

That's a programming cable for Astro Spectra PLUS and XTL W-series. You need a regular Spectra cable (mid or high power). Specs are on the main Batlabs site.

If you want to sell that cable, PM me. I'm looking for one.
