XTS3000 Display Fault

Post by gmilhouse »

Hi Guys,

I have 2 XTS300s that have a display fault. Both have vertical lines missing in the display. Every now and again a few more lines flicker on and off.

I didnt notice the radios doing this before tonight.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

What radios do you own?: Motorola/Kenwood

replace the display, this is common with that line of radio.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

If you decide to replaced the display the new displays require a different driver which will lead you down the line of having to get a software refresh key. (Motorola lingo for firmware update)
