number of modes in an mts2000

Post by w5gm »

I am getting different stories. Are all mts2k's capable of 255 modes or is that a flash option?

All front display "C5" and "C7" models are 255 channel capable. However, they need to be flashed for it. If you happen to have an older firmware version, 5.41 or less, then LAB RSS can be used to get the extra channels.

I don't recall if anyone posted they could get 255 channels with the "C4" top display / continuous rotary model.
