VRM850 Tuning: ISO link to build cable

Post by thorhang »

CPU to VRM850
RIB to VRM850

Looking to peform an alignment on the ref osc. Need link to information on how to build cable. Whatever you got, I'll take it. Thank you much! (Sorry if I was blunt, tried to make it as simple as possible. I tried looking on the batlabs website, but it's kinda confusing since I'm pretty new here.)

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. But for programming we just used serial to serial on the VRM's. Tuning can be done through MCS cable since its basically a MCS chassis.

Yes, the radio portion of the VRM650/850 is basically an MCS2000, so to align it you need the cable for the RIB to MCS 25 pin port(should be in batlabs cable building section) and MCS tuner software.
