HT1250 blows fuses

Post by arlojanis »

I have had several HT1250 both UHF and VHF to blow a fuse about once a week. I have not found a cure. Have you found a cause of intermittant fuse blowing?

We have had kinda of a similar issue with blowing fuses and loosing TX audio due to the metal shield on the housing assembly coming loose and shorting across the board. Solution was to replace the case to allow the metal plate to seat properly.

I had one I couldn't figure out for the life of me, so I sent in for a flat rate, they just swapped out the whole board. Git'er done, works for me
