XTS2500 RSM with Emergency button and volume

Post by Andy2712 »

I just purchase the RSM with Emergency button and volume control for my brand new XTS2500 m1.5's and I can't get the volume control to work. Can someone help me out? I'm sure its just a box I forgot to click. Thanks.

There are two different versions. The RMN5038 is a high/low volume selector and does not offer full range audio controls. (the minus key sets to you 50% of the radios audio, + goes back to selected level on the portable)

The RMN5067 offers full range audio controls as well as the Emergency.
Depends on what version you have, and if your radio has new enough DSP/HOST to support the mic.
