Voter Lock option for Spectra Tac Voters

Post by firecapt5708 »

I can not find a manual but seem to remember there being an option to enable "voter lock" on the Spectra Tac voters. Any body got any idea? Thanks. Chris

I think he means vote/lock so the voter won't switch sites once the first one is chosen. I believe, but not 100%, that the jumper is on the Audio Control board. We had this setup when we had a VHF MDT system that required that configuration.

Both options are possible, just a matter of how much work he would like to do if the extension terminal board is missing.

If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.

Vote Lock is designed for systems sending AFSK data over the air. I can't think of a reason why you'd want it for pure voice.
