MT-1500 UHF options

Post by mlosapio »

Hi all,

I'm looking into purchasing an MT-1500 but I have a software related question;

If you buy the radio with the "ENH: SFTWR ANALOG 3600 BAUD" does it also allow for conventional channels to be programmed and used as well.

Also, I've read that this radio is factory upgradable to P25; does anyone know if this is true? if so, do you know the rough cost?

Thanks!!!

A-Yes.

A:Yes.That is correct.Option G806 IMBE Digital Operation is about$500 option when you purchase a ASTRO 25 Line portable so I would think about that price as a after purchase flash upgrade.

"Thanks!!!"

Your welcome
