Maxtrac Signal & MDC enable

Post by sparky2842 »

I have 2 maxtracs. The one that works has no signalling capability the other non functioning radio does have signalling capability. Question is: can I enable the MDC in the functioning radio? The options are not even in the rss when read via the computer..

Probably not. What's wrong with the "non working" radio? if it's not the command board, you may be able to do a swap granted the radios are the same frequency range and you can then do a full alignment as the soft-pot values will not match.

The non working one will not power up. I went to use it one day and nothin'. Does not smell like smoke and nothing looks burnt. I think it got a surge from lightning as there was a storm before this happened..
