Hi,
Just looking for some help. I am new to Quantars and I am wondering if there is a way to bypass sending voice traffic over the wireline to the comparator. Basically it is a three site UHF P25 system, all three sites have a wireline tie to the comparator at the hub site. It is set now to rebroadcast, or multicast over all three sites whenever one of them is keyed up. Is there a way to maybe program the Quantars to say, on receiving XXX NAC to act as a local (stand alone) repeater only, and if YYY NAC is received it would pass the traffic over the wireline and transmit in multicast mode over all three towers??? Anyone with info please feel free to post...

If your Quantars have station control firmware version 13 or newer they will support Multi-NAC operation.
You will have to experiment with the programming to determine how to make the system do what you want.
A starting point would be to use the enhanced wildcard 'MCS User' state to drive a command like 'RX WL Inhibit' so that the station does not pass receive data to the comparator for one NAC but does for the other.
You could have collision issues if user at one of the sites has that repeater in local repeat mode and at the same time a user at another site who cannot hear the first user keys into the second site with the multicast NAC.
