Tried searching on this, but didn't turn anything up.
If I recall correctly, I seem to remember that one of the Waris series portables could encode/decode the appropriate MDC packets for remote radio disable/enable.
Trying to figure out a contingency in case our console goes down. Which portable supports this? Or am I wrong? I couldn't find anything in the HT1550XLS CPS for this.
Thanks.

Re: Waris Series Portable MDC Radio Disable/Enable questions
I'm fairly positive the handhelds cannot. However a CDM1550LS+ can if I remember correctly. May not be that exact mobile but one of the mobiles can.

No Waris portable or mobile made for the US will do MDC Kill/Enable. The exception may be one of the foreign (asia/pac comes to mind) ones with different firmware, but I'm not positive.d119 wrote:If I recall correctly, I seem to remember that one of the Waris series portables could encode/decode the appropriate MDC packets for remote radio disable/enable.
