CP200 Programming

Hey folks,

I'm attempting to change a channel in a bank of Motorola CP200 radios for an emergency Field Communications truck but am having some difficulty. I have the Commercial Radio CPS version R05.05 in the shop but it seems that somewhere along the way somebody programmed them with a newer version. I'm getting the "unsupported" error message. Can somebody tell me the most recent version of the software and how to go about ordering it from Motorola? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Latest release is R05.08 and to get the software you will need an MOL account, obtained at businessonline.motorola.com and a software license which can be obtained by calling 800-422-4210, press 0 for customer service. IIRC this software costs about $199
