MCS2000 UHF Error Codes

Hi All

I have recentley programmed my MCS2000 radio to recieve a trunking network in NSW. I have had no problems with the radio before. Now that i have changed the programming to include the trunking system, I get the following error codes when i power up the radio.

Error 00/10
Error 08/10

The still operates fine with no problems at all.
Does anybody have and suggestions what these error codes mean, i checked on batlabs but these two codes are not listed?


I have two of the MCS2000 radios one on VHF and the other on UHF. When i turn my ignition off on my car the VHF remebers what state it was in (on/off) and remains the same way when i turn the vehicle back on. The UHF one deosn't rember and it always comes on, is this a programming function that im missing.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi All

FYI i managed to fix the error codes on my MCS2000. I accidentley changed some of the siren settings in the cps. Having no siren hardware fitted to the radio it must bring up those fault codes.
