Motorola GP380 RX Fail after Flashing HELP ! ! ! ! !

Post by mjm320340 »

Hi All,

I've recently flashed a GP680 to a GP380. The radio will not RX now unless I place the aerial of another against the problem radio.

Is this a front end issue? Is the board destined for the bin? Can someone please tell me if there is anything I can do to rescue this radio..its just come in and is almost brand new.

Many thanks in advance

What radios do you own?: Motorola FR50!

Did you save the tuning data before doing the flashing and writing the new codeplug?

check tanapa number of GP680.
probably you programmed codeplug for radio with tanapa letter C (exam. pmue1437C) into radio with tanapa A or B (pmue 1437A or 1437B).
A / B / C have different IF, shift 250 kHz.
