HT1000 charger mods?

Post by n3chu »

Hi all, Has anyone come up with any mods to let you charge a metel hydride battery in the rapid or standard charger for the HT1000 without messing it up? I have done the mods on the MT1000 charger and it works great. Thanks very much. Davie n-3-c-h-u at atlanticbb dot net

Depends on the Model number of your charger. Most of the /\/\ 'shoe' chargers do the NiMh batteries OK.

There are a couple of aftermarket chargers that will do both types and use the Delta V cutoff.

Thanks for your reply Will, I have the Impact charger also and its good and will do the metel Hydrieds ok. But I did the mods on the MT1ooo chargers and they worked so well(and dont heat up the Batterys much) I wanted to try the ht1000 chargers as the HT1000 just dosent look right setting in another brand charger lol. Just thought with all of the great knowledge here some one may have a tip on it. Also it seems that theres more metel batts. around lately with high cap. thanks again. Davie
