Programming an EX600XLS w/HT-1250 Codeplug

Just bought our first EX600XLS for a new Chief. Was told by our local Moto dealer that we could load our current HT-1250 codeplugs into this radio. Is this true? All attempts so far has been met with the model mismatch message.

No that isn't possible with the pro series radios, you will need to reprogram from the ground up

the only support for exporting programming info with pro series is trunking and it doesn't work so great when you try to reimport it

maybe try to copy all the info on to an excel format and then pasteing it onto your new codeplug.
I've done it on some radios while on others it didn't work so well, but it's giving it a try!
