Hello,
I have an Astro Spectra which has been doing me wonders lately. Recently, I switched over from a desktop microphone to a regular palm microphone. When the Microphone is taken out of its hook/latch thing, the RX PL is switched to CSQ until it is hooked back into the latch. Is there anyway to disable this feature? I'm using windows based CPS on it.
Thanks so much!

defeat HUB is what you need
Re: Astro Spectra PL Deactivation question
Excellent, thank you so much! It has been quite a hassle-especially when listening to the NJ Transit Police system. I'll be sure to look for that when I do my next re-write.
Thank you again!

Re: Astro Spectra PL Deactivation question
It might be a hassle, but remember the feature was put there to comply with the FCC requirements. If your lifting
the mic off the hangup clip, then we have to gather that your intention is to transmit. If your not monitoring the
channel before your keying up the transmitter, your in violation of this. Your comments give us the indication that
there is chatter already on the channel. So now your admitting to willfully violating the FCC rules and regulation?
