Post by otter9309 »

I have a CDM750 VHF, that will not TX any type of PL or DPL.

Any Ideas?

Could you explain your setup? Are you using an external mic through the 16 pin connector by chance?

I am using this radio in a NCS250 setup. This is an inter-op solution. I had a UHF in there before with no problems, but can't seem to get this radio to work. The pin settings are the same as used before. The radio transmitts fine, just lacking the TX PL.

Basicly yes, it is using the 16pin rear port for the mic.

check your radio wide area. There is a setting that will cause aux tx audio to have no pl. I don't recall exactly what its called at the moment, but its there.

"edit" make sure enable flat tx audio is not checked. Its on the option board tab.

You nailed it. It was the Flat TX audio under the option board menu. It was killing me, why check for settings under option board, when the radio does not have one.

Thanks for the help.
