What radios do you own?: Two Tin Cans and a String

You need to create/add new modes to the zone, 16 modes maximum per zone, Push F1 for help tips while under the mode view info screen.

The System Saber RSS is a little bit of an odd fish, in that it considers all 16 zones that the radio is capable of present in the codeplug, whether or not they have anything programmed in them or not. On the radio side, the radio just ignores zones with nothing in them.

So, when you go into the Zone screen, first thing you have to do for any channel is to set its personality type. BLANK for if you don't want to use that channel, CONV or TRUNK respectively if you do. Then, you pick the personality number (either CONV or TRUNK) you want to assign to that channel, give it a name, tweak anything else (like scan, phone, etc), and off you go.

When you're on the Zone screen, use PGUP and PGDN to scroll through the zones, 12 channels at a time.
