MT2000 Alignment

Post by dlawman »

I have depot software and I believe when I last programed the radio I told it to use either internal or external values. Well, the result was my programmed frequencies above 460 is giving me an F001 failure. I believe the VCO needs to be readjusted. Any suggestions to get it back with a little experimentation? I don't have the resources to do a proper alignment.

If you saved an old codeplug then the original tuning values are probably still in it. You may be able to reload that original codeplug and see if you can then go to the 460+ channels that you need.

Thanks Tom, I have a bad feeling on this radio, I don't think I did. But I will look next time I get in the shop.
