MCS capable of rebanding and retuning?

Post by fire-medic8104 »

I searched, but couldn't find anything. Is a MCS2000 capable of rebanding and retuning from 800mhz to 700mhz or is that only XTLs?

Is there anyway to tell without reading the codeplug? I would like to buy a few since I like the display and price better than the XTL, but don't know if it will work for what I am wanting to do.

They will do rebanding with the latest firmware release. They will NOT ever do 700Mhz.

So would that mean only the XTS and APX portables as well? Or only certain models of those?
