XTS2500 with a rumble

Post by peteinsf »

I have an 700/800 xts2500 that "rumbles" on receive (analog) after being on for 10minues. I did not notice it before since I was only using it on p25 until lately. I suspect that p25 performance is down also.

Anyone seen this before? (4Meg r9.0.13/r12.0.4)

I am assuming the radio is one single board so swapping a RF module is out of the question.

Hang on - you've got Host 9 and DSP 12?

Correct, the 4 meg controller can't handle the HOST code but it can handle the DSP just fine.

If you try to upgrade a radio with v12 firmware and v12 CPS but it has a 4meg controller, you will get 9.highest HOST and current DSP
