217-222MHz CDM1500ls+ on 222-225MHz

Post by W1HVN »

I recently picked up a CDM1550ls+ on the 220 split. I had it programmed for 222-225 (ham). Is this out of range for this radio, and if so does anyone know how much receive sensitivity is lost and if it is possible to regain the loss (if any)?

Thanks much.

Exactly how did you manage to get this programmed on the 220MHz ham band?

They work fine in the 222-225 ham band, but going beyond that is a stretch. I have no receive sensitivity issues as all as high as 224.960.

Well I've got a pair of 220MHz HT1250's that I'd sure love to be able to use on 220MHz amateur service. Can anyone tell me exactly how to bring these out of band?

Thanks!
