MT1000 NO POWER UP BEEP

I have mt 1000 99 ch trying to program with mt1000 rss ver 3.001 , the software states bus error 011 and 003 now i know the soft ware works and rib, cable are good because i programed other mt1000's this radio will not beep when powered up i have sqlch and it transmits 159.09 (tacken from freqs counter) i tried gounding out the 7th contact on the white plug to the metal housing but i get aprox 25% on the reading scale any ideas.

Sounds like a corrupt codeplug. Try creating a fresh codeplug and programming it into the radio (if MT1000 software lets you do that, it's been SO long since I've used it I don't remember), or try cloning a codeplug from the same model radio into the MT1000.

Isn't there a setting in the RSS to enable/Disable the beep - I would read the radio and look into that. Its been a while since I programmed one of them.

thanks guys but it was a bad voc replaced it now no problems thanks again.
