I have a Motorola R.I.C.K. set up as a bi-directional repeater, no hang time.
The TX radio is a Motorola CDM-750 low-band and the RX radio is a Motorola CDM-750 VHF.
Set up Pin 8 for PL / CSQ detect on the TX radio, and Pin 14 for Pl / CSQ detect output (low) on the RX radio as described. I have COR both directions.
When I inject a 3 kHz tone on frequency in the RX radio, COR lights and the audio is re-broadcast on the TX radio. However, when I inject that same 3 kHz tone on frequency in the TX radio, the COR lights and I have nothing but a carrier. Any ideas why it would not be passing audio?
This was a working setup with the same CDM-750 low-band but a Motorola Radius set up as the RX radio before I swapped it out for the CDM-750 VHF. The two R.I.C.K. audio adjustment pots are nearly maxed out, and adjusting them made no difference.
Thanks,

Re: Motorola RICK Audio problem
I have had a few that the electrolytic cap in the audio line goes bad.
