MCX1000 options?

Post by Tim »

Hi All,

I picked up a couple of VHF MCX1000s, and they seem to work pretty well.

I cannot find in the RSS whether the radios have either a talkaround button,
or nuisance delete in scan mode.

There appear to be several 'extra' places for buttons, and LEDs around the
display.

Does anyone know if the radios support these functions?

Thanks,

Tim

What radios do you own?: More than I can list

There is no "talkaround" but you can just program the direct frequencies and do it that way. As for the nuisance delete, if it has the the first two buttons directly to the left of the channel knob, the first is 'prog' and then the next is 'scan'. When in scan mode the 'prog' button is your nuisance delete.

Thanks MCX, works great... & looks like I can delete more than one!
(unlike the X9000!!!)

I'll prog up the direct freqs & put in a different zone.

thanks again!
