Quantro and Quantar ?
What are the main differences between Quantro and Quantar ?
"The world runs on radio."
Re: Quantro and Quantar ?
Quantro has two powersupplies ans is 225W. A Quantar has one power supply and is usually 110W and lower.
Re: Quantro and Quantar ?
Negative on the previous post.
The quantro simply is a quantar with the amplifier and power supply separate from the radio. The quantro is 125w (usually) and can be made into a 225w with an additional power supply and second amplifier (in a simple way for explanation)
The quantar is all enlclosed in the one cage including power supply and amp at usually 125w. I don't know if you can make it do 225W (I don't think so).

Re: Quantro and Quantar ?
Quantro's I believe are generally older, have the external pa and power supply like previously stated. There diagnostics are not as useful as they don't provide details on the pa and power supply. The quantar's are available in up to 350 watt units that has a 25 watt exciter and a big booster with 2 power supplies.
