anyone know why i cannot put in splinter frequencies. when it should take

More info is needed. What freq's. and is your GM300 a 12.5 model ?

i am not aware of any wideband only gm300 radios, do they exist?

i think the problem is the radio will not accept 2.5khz stepped channels

154.6575 is not a valid 12.5KHz step....are you sure it isn't 154.6375?

I have the opposite problem. I have never seen one that will do both. The model number chart I have shows 7th digit "0" = narrow and "2" = wide. Is there a model of GM300 that can be programmed either way?

No, they were orderable as narrow 12.5 or wide 20/25/30 spacing. First mobile I can remember that had switchable spacing was
the M1225.

You are not going to monitor E-Com fire with a gm300. Its a splinter channel. 6.25 step.

i already monitor it with what i have programmed in there. it tx i cannot do which really doesnt matter. and your right about 6.25 step so no more in for needed. thanks for all the replies.
