I've got a conventional P1225 UHF here, P94ZPC90A2AA here that is telling me something, but who knows what it is. I don't. Maybe someone out there has seen this.
Short POST tone, then a few seconds later it gives me 3 tones hi to lo, and then 3 tones lo to hi, followed by a single beep tone.
No rx on the freq programmed, and when I PTT it acts like an LTR radio......pulses on and off a few times and the warbles hi-lo at me till I release PTT.
Anyone?

Re: P1225 question
I bet is has a Scholer-Johnson LTR aftermarket board installed. Look at the PCB under the front housing, is it red?

Re: P1225 question
You might not want to do that. That ltr board with there software will let you have many more conventional channels that what you would normally get.
