Noise Cancelling Headset

Post by GMC »

Can anyone suggest a good headset with a noise cancelling mic that can be used near a fire truck pump panel?

Thanks

All the brands have good to excellent results.

A LOT depends on your existing intercom setup if you have one, and what you want for a headset at the pump panel.

Single Ear?
Dual Ear?
PTT on a walk around cable?
PTT on the headset?
PTT on the bulkhead?

Also, what RADIO are you interfacing to, as this is an important consideration on what brand you end up with if you have no intercom already installed.

ALL have their idiosyncratic problems. David-Clark is by far the most expensive, but you get what you pay for if you want mil-spec quality.
