I am having trouble programming a CDM1250 using all genuine Motorola RIB and cables. Professional CPS software error msg says "check connections from device/RIB, RIB/Computer, and power on device/RIB" all these check out okay. RIB and computer read/write to HT1250 fine, but will not recognize the CDM1250. Any suggestions?

Have you tried more than 1 CDM radio? It could just be a problem with the radio, if you haven't. I had a really wierd problem where one of our genuine "M" RIBs would read EVERYTHING, except HT750/1250s. It would even read CDMs. Perhaps you have a similar problem, try another RIB if you have one, especially if you've confirmed the radio-to-RIB cable by reading a Maxtrac or similar radio.
