Help Needed

Post by BMedcom »

I just ordered a new HT1250 UHF last Monday from my local dealer, and thew said it would ship Friday (last week), and I should have it this coming week on Wednesday 12/09/2009. My question is what is the version of CPS I will need to use to program it? The latest version I was able to obtain from Moto. before my subscription ended was CPS 06.10.04 The dealer told me that was the latest version they had also, but I read online that there were newer versions. So, in short will version 06.10.04 do the trick for what I am assuming is the newest versions of the HT1250's since I just ordered it. Thanks guys/gals.

Short of getting 100% reliable information from one of your sources, the only way to find out if the CPS you have will read and program your new radio is to try the CPS out on the new radio itself. Odds are the radio is being shipped with the latest software installed, whatever that happens to be.
