Maxtrac FTR RSS

Post by videonerd »

I'm getting a wierd error message while trying to run Maxtrac FTR RSS, RVN4043G. On run, it says "Does not have enough memory to run this application." The other Maxtrac RSSes work, and I've programmed up Maxtracs with this RSS just a few months ago on the same machine. Running mem.exe (DOS 6.22) says I have 632KB of free memory. Can anybody give me any insight on how to make this app work again?

Thanks!

Correct the FTR requires more memory and PURE DOS. You need to have extended memory loaded.
Depending on the date of issue the FTR may have a computer clock speed problem.

It's the wierdest thing... I haven't changed a thing hardware wise and it just refuses to work! I have used DOS in so long it's taking me a while to wrap my head around loading drivers and memory management in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT.
