Rib testing out of circuit

Post by bradlington »

Has anyone taken readings on their RIB Mot box ,I seem to have a strange fault and should have taken these readings long ago for reference.

It is a genuine rib .

With Power to it -what should the states be on the given pins associated with TX /RX data etc.

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

Check your 5V and -5V supplies and check the protection diodes.

Hi

Thanks Dave - after going through the circuit I found both CR3 and CR4 were short circuit.

Did not have 7,5 V but replaced them with 9,1V in the mean time and I have read and programmed the Gm300 and finally my three HT1000 portables.
Next is getting the HT1000 from 8 to 16 ch - will see what HEX mod I can do .

Thanks again for the heads up.
