swapping heads on astro spectra

Post by wazzzzzzzzup »

greetings,
i have searched before the post and have found stuff about XTL series

im interested to know how easy it is to take a 110W astro spectra configured for say a dash style head, and place a full feature head on it, im thinking the radio will have a problem with that but not sure, ive looked over the shops version of astro spectra CPS and dont see any options for changing head. i dont wish to expierement with swapping heads so as to prevent possible corruption or damage without knowing exactly whats required first.

any help would be great,
and BTW the new restrictions on the search feature SUCK!

wazz

You cannot change the control head type on an astro spectra with cps. Its not a cps editable field. Your choices are swapping s-records or sticking with the head you have.
