GM340 X 2 with rick ?

as the title states, can i use a rick with two gm340 bases? we set the pin configs in both radios as rick rx and rick tx but it did not work , we also have the rick plugged in the middle with the two spare pins on each side..id also like to use the remote setup/knockdown via 5tone .ive set this up no worrys on a gr300 using mdc with out any dramas but i cant seem to get the gm340s working via the rick . any help would be greatly appreciated.

gday mate, yes the box is ticked , i have it all basicly working now except i dont have the RX audio passing via a cheap ebay repeater cable or via the RICK.. is their a internal mod or something i am missing in the software to enable the tx radio to accept the rx audio in via pin 5 on the the 16pin acc? should i re route the rx audio pin from the rx radio to pin 2 on the tx radio instead of 5 where it works fine with gm300s?? the rx radio is passing the rx audio out because with the cheap ebay cable i can direct it straight in to ptt , ground and mic audio on the mic connector and it works.. but as i dont want to mod the rick to plug in to the front mic socket id like to find out how to make this work properly? cheers to all and merry christmas.

To activate pin 5 (Flat Tx Audio) set PTT pin 3 to "Voice & Data PTT" or "Data PTT" in CPS.
RICK also need set up: S2-5 - ON, S2-6 - OFF.

gday mate, i got it working , i had to enable the external mic anable check box also cheers foir your help its greatly appreciated. now to get the setup/knockdown working with 5 tone:) cheers

does anyone know if their is a resistor cut needed to enable the ignition sense on these radios ? the rick notices the selcall and turn the setup light off on the rick but the tx radio is not responding to the rick ?

Ignition sense is on pin 10, and it's a programmable option in the CPS, in the accessory configuration page. It's called "ignition sense type", and you want it set for 'on/off & ignition'.
