Software Information

Post by yardbirdjr »

Merry Christmas to All!

First off I am not asking for software and such.

I would like to obtain a list of the following for Motorola programming software.

I am looking for the programming software part numbers and version, for all Motorola programmable radios. (Mostar to the current mobiles), (STX to current portables)

Or maybe a link that I could obtain this information

I was maybe looking at after the first of the year buying a few XTS-5000's and XTS-2500's.

I was wanting to buy the lastest software from Motorola, so I can make sure that I can program then myself after I buy them instead of having to take them to a shop.

Please either post or PM me list

It would greatly be appreciated

Thanks

Somewhere on this Board, maybe five years ago or so, there was a list of Motorola programs used to program radios. Almost all of it at the time was RSS. CPS came along later. In any event, most of it is now obsolete because the radios are no longer supported. In some cases the software is NLA as a result.

As far as getting current CPS from Motorola I would think that by simply ordering it you'd get the most up to date issue, as well as the updates which automatically follow. I think the radios you're considering are up to version 13 in their CPS.

The older software list is available on the batlabs site:
