Pins 4 and 11 NOT connected in original SABER cable

Post by momo737 »

Hello,

I have noticed that the pins 4 and 11 are connected in the DB25 (radio cable side) according to the scheme provided here in this site, but they are not in my original testing+programming SABER cable (the one with the cylindric connector and 2 BNCs). Can anybody help please with this issue?

Hello all, i solved the problem by myself!

Yes, in fact, in the original motorola cable for SABER, pins 4 and 11 are not directly connected, but i found that pins 4 and 13 ARE connected, and as in the RIB schematic, pins 11 and 13 are coonected together (board side), so, in final, pins 4 and 11 are connected via the RIB, not through the cable, the most important is that the result is the same :)

I am trying to recover from an "ERR 0 81" message, so i am checking every thing :)

Thank you.
