Re: Digitac Voter
You need the 68 06908B19 manual, and a null cable / hyperterm to program it.

Re: Digitac Voter
Is this available from Motorola or does anyone know where I can find the manual, In doing a search thru my business online account I come up with no exact match with that part number
Re: Digitac Voter
Do you need the punch block pinouts, or what?
As far as programming goes, you use a DB25 to DB9 cable between your PC and the DIGITAC, and depending on the cable you may need to insert a null modem adapter on either end.
Use your favorite terminal program to program the unit. You need to connect to BOTH DB25's on the front of the unit to do the full programming. Obviously you plug into them one at a time.
One side controls receive (right hand DB25), the other transmit (left hand DB25).
If this is your first time playing with a voter, you might want to step down to a SpectraTAC and start there...

Too bad the previous owner did not supply it with the chassis. They were included with the sale but who knows where it may be now. Refine your search to 68-06908 without the suffix B19. What is actually printed in mine is 68P06908B19-A, but I know they no longer use the P. You might try leaving the space out (6806908B19). Or you can call parts ID. It may be one of those manuals that is actually several manuals combined.
