Current Quantar firmware

As per the title, what is the current version of firmware for the Quantar?

I don't know what's current but we have 20.something and RSS 12.something if that helps

Yeah, not really - Was working on a 1999 model station the other day and it was also station version 20.xx.xx even though its over 10 years old now

The "20" part of the number isn't what you're looking for.

Quantar firmware numbers prior to release 9 started with 16; e.g 16.08.003 where "08" refers to release 8.

At release 9 they changed the prefix to 20; e.g. 20.09.17

There have been numerous major release versions since "9"

Current ship should be something in the 14.XXX range.

The programming software help file documents the supported firmware versions and the corresponding part numbers.

About a month ago an astrotac RX was 20.14.042 from the factory.
That would be conventional, not IR or Data

How time flies. What I remembered as 'new' 20.10.012 turns out to be dated as 2002...

How would one go legitimately updating the firmware on the quantar, or is it not needed if the repeaters are running fine with no known issues? Thx, Rob

I'd be inclined to go with the latter, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
