MSF5000 800 Mhz

Post by KB2ZTX »

I have a 800 Mhz unit that I tried to reprogram for a rebanding project. Read the radio changed freqs, and now have a "dA0 Corrupted User Area of TTRC Code Plug". Now looking at documentation from MOT it says to try to reprogram this. Done this about 10 times. no luck. Any one ever have one of these happen ? If so how did you resolve ?

Did you save the original codeplug when you read the radio for the first time? Often, people just read the radio and make their changes without saving first. The problem is that if you change values that aren't acceptable and force them in the radio, you get errors. If you saved the original codeplug, program it back into the repeater.
