receive issue with HT1250

Post by mikey107sec »

I have a HT1250 UHF "S" split that has a bad hum sound in the receive. The TX is fine just the RX has the hum. I tried a speaker mic-no good. I looked into the settings and it matches the other radios I have. Changed some of them around but it just sounded worse so I put them back to original. It seems to be receiving the same distance wise just the sound is awful. Any clues? This is not an LS or LS+.

Thanks. I asked someone off the board and he said the same thing as was listed in that thread. I'll give it a shot but I'll be honest I thought the thing was gonna just die out soon. It is that loud the hum to the point where you can't hear the person speaking on the other end.
